Add Case Help
This is where you begin your new Case input. When you input a new Case RMP checks through the entire
RMP network to see if the VIN you have input is in our network as an open Case. If it is you will have the
option to send an email to the agent that has the Case open to let them know it has been assigned to you and
to request information. You do not have to send the email be we believe the safety of the repossessors in the
field warrant notification of double assigned accounts.
Add New Case - You must fill out the Basic Case Information area. Select a client for the new Case,
the Case Type (Involuntary, Voluntary, etc..), Case Classification, Area of Operation,
and the Legal Owner of the Case being input.
Now begin to input the Asset Information (VIN, Year, Make, Model, etc..). Once you input the VIN and tab out of that text box you
will notice the VIN decoder in RMP has decoded the VIN into Year, Make and Model. There are Asset Details that may be retreived using
the VIN. Any of that information that can be gathered will be and displayed in the correct areas. Once you have input the VIN and
you input the other information on the asset that you have. You can tab through the text boxes for easy input.
Now begin to input the Debtor Information by tabbing through the boxes and inputting the data you wish.
(Debtor is Required) Once you have completed your entry for the debtor and the co-debtor
click the "Add Case" button at the bottom left or at the top right.
Once the Case
is added a pop up message will appear asking if you would like to view the Case details page now.
Click on "OK" to continue the Case input. Once on the Case Details page
you will be able to add Contacts/Address, Updates, Case Assignments to Subcontractors & Repossessors to
the Case.
Clear Button - This will clear the page entry to start the Case entry again fresh.
Global Search - At the top right of the RMP site you will see a text box with
beside it. In this text area you can use Debtor Name, Tag Number or Last 6 of the VIN. To begin your search just click the
